Sorry to say, but this could be the possibility now. Wreckers cars dont last long in the yard. & They are in a near irrepairable state when they come out. & I mean, like, genuine irrepairable, because they are usually crushed on site by the forklift/front end loader that they use to transport in & out old & new stock.
Stupid Question, why dont you get in contact with him & simply ask your Stepdad straight out or is he an *?
