The crashed one was stat write off. I purchased back and parted it out, keeping the upgraded parts I had fitted.
I then purchased the subject car and fitted those parts to it.
The guy who bought the shell was quite aware of its history-a bit hard to hide. He only wanted the roof and doors to fix his car.
The subject car is/will be a repairable write off. There is no panel damage, which I think is the thing that would affect the resale the most.
Only car dealers are required to inform buyers if the vehicle is a repairable write off.
Since I have no intent of selling this car-I don't consider this an issue.
I checked yesterday and the
ICC loom-the one I need-is the only one that was sold...bummer.
