That's one of the things that has taken up quite a bit of time deciding on, whilst we know we can do it with the addition of some sheet metal on the roof to accommodate the FG doors, Paul is finding out what's required from an engineering and certification perspective.
The difficulty was working out if it would look good enough with BF doors being remoulded to match the front clip, but the belt line would be wrong. What we've decided on doing instead is making the FG doors fit with the higher belt line. This also means the little opera window is going to need to kidney shaped to match the rear FG door. Not sure how it would look so it may be deleted. That said, the modification required to the C pillar and the quarter will be substantial and we are hoping to have the car registered, but these major structural mods may prohibit how much we're able to do from a legal perspective.
That said, Paul has invited me around to watch an episode of Boyd Coddingtons American Hotrod for an example of what's possible with sheet metal. Too many distractions and too many possibilities.
