I used to like using RAC Batteries.
The price was reasonable, the service was good, and it was no hassle. They came out, installed the new battery, took the old one away, and they kept a record so I didn't have to bother about keeping dates and receipts. Never had a problem.
Last battery we got from them was sold as a "premium" and it was rubbish. What's worse they wouldn't honour their warranty, and their customer service was beyond ****.

So should I just go to SCA etc?

I have been using exides made by GNC in Elizabeth south Australia for many years, I was buying factory direct
Sadly they are now moving overseas and the RAA battery switched from being locally sourced to made in Korea and they are crapola now

Don't buy from auto parts stores, try an independent supplier like batteries direct or independent batteries that we have in sa.

You should have companies like these in your state
