Not sure what you are asking here exactly, but if you want to run a camera as well, the 12pin plug will be fine for this as well.
So the 15-20a pins in the standard trailer lights section in the 7 or 12 pin flat socket are heavy enough for electric brakes on a double axle trailer at full power.

If you want the round normal socket what’s ways of disabling reverse sensors and switching from cars to vans camera like you can with the flat sockets with the switches.

Can you buy a flat socket with the switch and not use the trailer lights only the reed switch then get a normal 7 pin large round and wire trailer lights and brakes to that then buy a plug for the flat socket just to keep the flap open so it disables the reverse sensors.

What would you guys do
