I recall a recent interview with Ford Australia, as to why they don't bring the new Shelby's downunder.

Apparantly its to do with the strict ADR's that are put on car distributors, importers and manufacturers.

One of the problems were the exhaust noise levels, much louder than the active exhausts of the MY18+ GT's we get.

So if we do eventually see them in Oz, expect a numbed down version.

While Motorsport modification companies like Herrod can get around the ADR's, it is not the same and as easy as a manufacturer like Ford to get away with the same, that was according to the interview responses from FOA.
