I test drove an automatic blue VF2 SSV Redline demonstrator and was really expecting it to be better than what it was.
I read every single article written on them and they all mentioned how good they sound with the Baillie tip, I was expecting something a lot louder.
I even pulled over and was looking if there was a button or setting I needed to push to get it to sound better.
The ride was also very different to what I expected, it wallowed around quite a bit on change of direction and yet had a brittle low speed ride - like it was softly sprung but had 60psi in the tyres.
I was 90% sure I was going to buy one ( I was after a red manual one) but after the test drive I changed my mind.
I don't think it sounded anywhere near as good as the 335 GTP I used to own.
It may also have something to do with what you're used to - I was jumping out of my tuned Golf R which was over 300kg lighter.
