The last 10-15 years or so have really taken the gloss off the US for me, more so the last 4 years.
If and when we become a republic, I hope it is nothing like the US. As far as I'm concerned keep it the same and just boot the queen (or kings) as head of state.
The Washminster system works pretty good around here, I don't see any need to add another head **** to it.
