Approaching reassembly, got a question for the CR diesel experts.
During tear down I assumed the subject banjo fitting had a stepped head and just ratcheted away without really looking. Next thing I had a stop bolt, copper washer and a fine spring about 20mm long in my hand. It came off the end of the actual banjo bolt.
Clearly, I wasn’t 100% focused that day.
What I’m wondering is, in this process of misadventure did I lose a check ball or some type of poppet valve? I did not observe anything falling, or see any piece on the ground when I immediately stopped to look.
