You can still drive many beach's up our north coast CB provided you obtain a permit at the local servo etc.....
Far more restricted than in the ol days obviously (used to drive anywhere but I get the preservation of dunes and the growth) and also depends which beach how restrictions are applied.
Plus you can have bon fires at many still as well.
Anyway if it wasn't for the mighty plane ol 09 Hilux I would have never experienced such wonderful places right up to Noosa.
Would luv something like the ol 4x4 Falcon ute or the Van as noted above with those strong 6cyc motors but the D4 has performed very well.
