it is, and together with the massive increased amount of page road to isolated beaches in WA it over recent decades doubtless increases the access to what were once very isolated and even unvisited beaches and their previously unsighted great white shark populations so sighting of these sharks and their accidental biting of the now more readily available HB's (often swimming and/or surfing in dangerous conditions and at unsafe hours) increases too. Even ignoring the State's significant increase in population and the number of people now swimming and surfing. But you still have significantly more chance of dying in a car accident while driving to the beach that being nibbled on by any fish.
