Personally, I have nothing against EV's. I think if you live in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne they're probably a good thing. I live in regional Queensland and do regular trips in a diesel ute, often loaded and towing a loaded trailer. There is no EV that I'm aware of that would suit my requirements better than my present vehicle. This is also the situation for the majority of people living and working in rural and regional Australia.

I don't care one way or the other if you want to buy an EV. If it works for you, then fill your boots. Good on you!

I just wish that people and politicians, who in most cases have never lived or worked outside a metropolitan area, would stop trying to dictate to me what sort of vehicle I should own and operate.
