The lack of tech means you aren't distracted, no 14 different throttle/suspension/gearbox settings, no flashing lights to inform the driver to stay awake, no stop-start......................you just get in, turn the key and drive.
As someone with the latest Mustang, it's certainly fun to play around with the endless combinations of drive mode settings, gauge cluster layout, multiple interior lighting colours, steering feel, exhaust modes ect. But team all of that with the stupid ADAS systems, the car is extremely easy to get distracted while driving, and that's not a good thing.

I agree with Crazy Dazz here. Compare the FGX against the VF series 2 or even the VF. Tech aside, the interiors are just years ahead and the cabin is a great place to be. It isn't just the tech that makes them state of the art. The materials used, suspension tuning, comfort package, etc. There is no way to slice it, the FGX was an also ran vs the FG that was ahead of the VE product.
Putting my Ford bias aside, if it was between a VF series 2 and FGX, I'd buy the VF every day of the week in the secondhand market. LSA Clubby would be the pick.
