Rather than keep in a holding yard, it looks like Ford Chanel stuffed its dealer network with vehicles. I hate autocorrect Last edited by jpd80; Yesterday at 05:49 PM. |

That little rumour will be devastating for Ford’s competitors, especially if they can’t do the same..

https://www.trucksales.com.au/editor...review-147067/ Check out the canopy it comes with, plus the little tray and the steps, ladder racks and it can tow 4500kg. Yeah I know they ride like *** but it's a work vehicle that's going to be loaded up all the time, probably not great fit for a courier but an electrician or a plumber this thing is the tits |

I have posted this one before a Dual Wheeled Ranger Concept for Towing.
Not a single cab though.

You are forgetting the main issue with Jap trucks, it's supply.
12-18 month wait isn't unheard of.

4.5t behind a Ranger, madness. Surely that won’t be passed off.
Laws of physics still apply and no amount of marketing **** factor bullshit will compensate for incorrectly loaded trailers, drivers who have no open road experience and no experience towing anything heavier than a single axle 6x4 trailer. |

I traded a Lifestyle Crew for my Vito back in 2021 because of the need for better towing..."Towing weight, download is still 80Kg" ..so it's not even rated high enough for me to stand on the towball....

Curious as to the changes made to do those sorts of figures, on the Ranger, you look at the Jap trucks and they're a bit more robust in their construction plus have duallies.
Maybe it's going to be like the GMT400 Silverado of the 1990s and have big flares over the wheel arches? |

Currently, most crew cab Utes can’t legally tow the max 3,500 kg due to combined weight limitations.
I think any update to Ranger will be all about permitting that more than the max. 4,500 kg bit… Currently, max towing 3,500 kg applies more to single cab versions….not many of them sold. I wonder if weight distribution hitch is mandatory for this application would make the whole deal much safer for everyone Last edited by jpd80; Today at 11:42 AM. |
