Hi
Is there any difference between the ASL amplified aux unit and the ford one BAF289455BA. Ie are they equally as good as each other for sound quality etc Thanks |

I'm pretty sure I installed a Genuine Ford AUX iPod Mp3 Kit BA BF Falcon a couple of years ago to play my songlist through the aux system.
All worked well until I updated my phone from a Moto e to a Moto e3 Power. Now, no matter what app I use to playback, the song stops, misses and starts again. Playing from phone alone all ok. Thoughts?

I have tried both and the ASL unit is far superior, you don't have to adjust the volume when going into reverse or changing media type, volume is boosted significantly and uniform across all media types, easy to install and well worth the $125 in my opinion, i use a classic IPod in the Aux, very happy with it.
