Default What Price for an AUII 'Lane V8

I was thinking of having a look at this:

Ebay AUII Fairlane

I reckon his Buy It Now price is a bit unrealistic.

Red Book value it from a low of $8,000 (trade) to a high of $12,200 (private sale).

Red Book

I'm guessing that if it's as good as it looks it's worth around 11.
Is he dreaming, am I dreaming, or are we both dreaming?

sounds about right
we just paid $10300 for debs 99 S1 Fairlane 6 cyl and its got 190k kays on the clock and the exterior needs some TLC

that one looks good and its an 8 with LPG..
and being the S2 they are worth alot more than the S1s.. the S2s go for around 15-20 at yards..

Seems on the money to me too.
Its a Fairlane, its V8, and has LPG. Its the pinnacle of what Ford offered at the time, which isnt that long ago.

8, lpg, big tow pack and in great condition, they'll get 15 no worries.

redbook always seems VERY low to me.

Seems about right, people always seem to want everything for nothing nowadays though. If it were mine I wouldn't let it go for less than 15k.

and people forget that the lanes cost a crapload more than the standard falcons etc to start with..
so their value is always going to be higher than the standard versions
