Was an AWESOME episode

The Vette was impressive. not a fan of the Caddy but I cant go past the Dodge Challenger - I have seen pics of it but never seen it driven - gave me chills just seeing it on the road

Nice work by captain slow ditching the Caddy after his burnout attempt

When do we get to see a Top Gear UK episode where they come over here and Jump in some of the local cars and do a road trip?

Maybe we all should send an email to the BBC requesting it.
Surely if they get enough requests they'd do it, obviously they have the budget for it.

The challenger maybe the slowest and the worst handler but those looks do it for me every time.

Although I wouldn't say no the the 'Vette. The caddy can stay where it is though.

True, but they negleted to mention they aren't exactly in the same Price Range. A fair challenger (pardon the pum) to the Challenger from the GM Stable would be the new Camaro (if it were available at the time. The V-Spec Caddy isn't exactly bargain basement either.

They did tell us the prices- they paid $51,000 ($10,000 more than list) for the Challenger, the 'Vette was about $100,000 and I can't remember the price of the Saab.....The 'Vettes performance was outstanding even though I dislike the styling- loooks a little too japanese supercar than muscle car for me but i was amazed to see 3 cars (American) that loved corners!

Apparently when they are here next month they will be doing some filming, not necessarily a whole episode but more likely a largish sort of segment. There is also talk that the captain will be coming down for one of their challenges too, even though he is not going to be at Top Gear live.

Would love to see them pit an F6 against an R8.
I reckon Jezza and Hammond would prefer it over the 8.

You cant buy the chemistry that exists between these guys and that show. I watch every week and always have a smile on my face when its finished.
I would have the Vette in my garage anyday.

No come one guys...

The funniest 2 things the whole night...
#1... Some very well educated American (he clearly finished 'grade school') asking if James May was John Lennon... cos its his favourite band!?!? *(his favourite band but he was unaware that their famous lead singer has been dead for years!??)*
#2... Captain slow over-cooking the Caddy and ending up in the bunker... hahahah "Oh ...." heheheh

Despite his lame appearance, he is definately the funniest on the show...
Sorry...
I mean the most factual...

I'd take any if one was given :P

But if i had my pic, it would be:

1-Dodge
2-Vette
3-Caddy

For the less price of the Dodge, you could use your savings for further development of the car :P

Still love the show after so many years!! GO TOP GEAR!

I saw the SBS version of TGUK last week for the very first time. Do they always cut out the news? So SBS viewers never get to hear Clarkson's 'I went onto the Internet and I found this...'?

The news segment can be the funniest segment of the lot at times!
