Hey All,
Have many people put 6" or 6.5" speakers in the parcel shelf? and if did you make up spacers? Also if you have pics it would be great. Cheers |

I did about 2 weeks ago just made some adapters from 5x7 to 6.5" sorry don't have any pics

I've did it in my old BA and also in my current AU. I used 3mm MDF from Bunnings about $10 approx for a large sheet. To get the right shape, i took out the original 5x7" speakers out, put one of the speakers face down on the MDF and traced around the outside of the speaker and also the screw holes. I then used the circle template that came with my aftermarket 6" speakers to trace the hole needed to fit the new speakers into the MDF spacer. I'll take some pictures on the weekend, i could write up a tutorial if you're interested? All in all it's pretty simple. All the best.

i did it in the bf
its the same process take out the old speaker trace it onto 6mm mdf and jig it up 6 inch speakers will fit as well as 6.5s and you can keep the factory look |
