Default Seriously..What is this?

Ive seen this about 100 times since searching for parts for my AU, what does this little resistor thing do?

My interpretation is that it causes the car to sit in warm up mode non stop, which would mean it must just change the air/fuel ratio some how.

Can someone break it down for me?

The only thing that the resistor will do is take your money off you. It is a rip off

No. But think about it. If they are so good why are they giving you 3 for the price of 1.

And also if they were so good why haven't you heard of them before and every person on these forums have them fitted to there car. Wow up to 17hp for just $18. Every tuner in the country will be out of business soon

Yeah basically tricks the ECU.

Will only work temporarily until the ECU relearns = pointless.
