best bet would be to call the vic equivalent to the rta. think it might be vic roads but being from nsw not 100% sure on what it is. they will be able to give you a definate answer but it will also depend on the level of signatory which signed it off. try and get as much info as you can on who it is engineered by in nsw, all the mods and give vic roads a call.

An Engineers Certificate is valid in any state.
Take the Certificate along with a RWC, Transfer papers (if transferring the rego) and a receipt and that will be that. There should also be a Mod Plate attached to the engine bay, its usually blue, that will also list the Mods done, who signed it off and any other info that needs to be known. Once that plate is on the car, its good for any State or Territory. |

I thought the RTA had certain Engineers they recognise, and none are interstate, I hope for your sake it is not the same in vic

Each state has their own recognised engineers, if the bloke who did it in NSW isn't on the VIC's list of approved engineers then you will have to get it engineered again in VIC. Its a PITA

U will need to engineer it in VIC as they have there own rules there
What cortina TE/TF/TC/TD What yr model and month??? What engine is it running??? 302 windsor/cleveland or 351 windsor/cleveland or is it chev powered??? If its a 1976/6 month and after build more than likly u will need a emmision report and ive heared there $3000.00 to do the test in VIC and free in NSW

Yeah its a 75 tc with an 351 clevo in it it's a really nice neat car but if it's gonna be that much trouble it can stay in nsw i don't want the headaches of going through engineers again here in vic i thought a nsw engineers report was sufficent looks like its not.
Also about 5 years back i worked with a bloke that moved here from qld and had a xf fitted with a 351 clevo he had the mod plate from qld all he did down here was get a roady and had no dramas with getting reg looks like times have changed stupid pollies vic is really a nanny state considering moving |

Rules have changed big time but i think u can get away with a 6point cage in VIC and u carnt in NSW.
Im looking for a TE cortina thats already engineered with V8, 6 point cage but hard to come by. Here is my old cortina i was building http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...Y/IMG_0220.jpg http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...Y/IMG_0221.jpg http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...Y/IMG_0222.jpg http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...Y/IMG_0223.jpg http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n...Y/IMG_0224.jpg
