Very (very) slow to load. Only having this issue on this site, and just in the last 4-6 days.
No issues anywhere else on the net. It's like being on dial-up! I'm on fastest NBN btw. |

Fine here in Adelaide.
I suggest it's a problem on your end mate, perhaps a virus or spyware? |

All fine here. IE11, Windows 10 in an unusually wet WA.

Yeah, not having any issues anywhere else on the net. Pages fully load in 1-2 seconds everywhere else. It's just this site that is slow, 10-15 seconds to load any page on ff.com.au. Not sure what the problem could be.

Hmm; are you using an aftermarket anti-virus program; and if so, which one?

Trend Micro Max. I have turned it off and made no difference.
It certainly is weird that it's only this site that is slow. And slow on all computers in the house. The fact that it's slow on all computers is confusing. |

Check all your modem firmware settings to see if you have listed the site in any of the security or net nanny settings.

Any luck with this xxxg? I've now got the exact same problem you described, all FF pages taking 10-15 seconds to load.

No luck still. Except time to load is a bit longer (15-20, sometimes even 30 sec) to load a page fully. Extremely frustrating and only for ff.com.au. Lightning quick everywhere else on the net so fudged if I know what's going on.
edit: To post this reply took over 20sec to load from the time I hit the quick reply button. |

Running off a wifi modem, give the modem a re-boot.
Edit: Just noticed it's fine everywhere else maybe there's something loading slowly on this site. I've been using adblock plus with good results for slow loading sites. Last edited by Fed; 25-06-2017 at 01:25 PM. |

Thanks Fed. Have re-booted modem many times, same result. Yes I too am running AB+ and also AdGuard. The last thing to load is the forum banner after about 25-30sec.

xxxg I just noticed in AB+ you can right click on anything (banner) & block the element.
Could be good for testing. Forget that it comes back again. |

Try uBlock Origin https://chrome.google.com/webstore/d...eiagm?hl=en-US Available on Opera also Best adblock i have found Excellent on streamsites also Also whats your ISP? You using static IP settings? Im using a static IP on all devices including TV/Media Centre and players/phones and not a issue if using the WIFI home network. No issues on 4G standard settings Sometimes the ISP suppliers aussie DNS settings can play up causing slowdowns you referring to resolving certain locales. Something to think about I use the Google DNS - 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 for IPv4 on Exetel via Optus

I saw the same complaints on another forum about a year ago.
It was a Pop Up Advert problem on the site, many adds & pop up banners slowing the page to load. A couple of members on there said that everyone should install a free ad-blocker on their browser. The one they suggested was "Ad Block Plus" You can get it free from this link... https://adblockplus.org/ Very easy & quick to download & install, works fantastic, don't even notice it sitting on your browser apart from the fact your pages are all much faster to load. I have been using it ever since. I just tried this forum with mine switched off & it was slow as, switched it back on & fast again. I hope that helps. |

Slow for me too. Problem only started a month or so ago. Had fibre to the node NBN but just moved house and now have fibre to the house. No difference. Was already running Adblock. Still using same antivirus software Bitdefender. Changed nothing on my PC so problem must be with the site

It's slow.
I haven't been on in some time and it used to fly (with the exception of it grinding to a halt around 4pm or so). Now it seems to take a while to do anything.

Strange?.... It's working fast for me and I am only on Telstra ADSL2 at 10 Mbps as I write this.
Maybe it depends on which ISP you are with? |
