Vic-Dutton Rally on Channel 9 @ 12.30

The Dutton is on Channel 9 "The Car Show", we might get some footage of the "T3" Boys, for those that are interested.

Pretty biased footage favouring the exotics or the under dogs, a couple of brief shots of a BA XR8 ute and a Tornado, and "Fire Fox's" T3 smoking them up and bouncing of the limiter at WSID.

My sentiments exzakly... Steve Butler took 2nd over all on Day one, remember it was pouring down with rain. He smack all but 1 AWD pocket rocket which is not a easy feat in a big rear wheel drive and yet Steve did not get a spot on the Telly..... Not Happy Jane

Didn't get to see it, but by the sound of it I didnt miss much anyway.
Not real happy about that at all. How are we supposed to attract sponsors into the sport with no footage of us??
By the sounds of it if you didnt have an exotic you dont get any TV, & thats crap because if you have the money for a $300,000+ car you wouldn't need sponsors.

On top of that I still haven't recived my trophy for comming third in the V8 class!!

I watched the show hopping to see the T-series guy's and all I seen was the red T3 and not much off it at that, only the close up off the rear tyre covered in smoke.

I was a little disapointed as well, but I expected it. If you watched the WA round it was basically the same. They seemed to concentrate more on driver/ co-driver teams than just drivers. Oh well...still got plenty of footage for the dvd I'm authoring at the moment. :1syellow1 It's nearly ready to BTW.

The coverage was very biased i must agree, but at the end of the day its what the majority of the viewing audience wants to see... and that is the exotics

Was a pretty good show i thought but as said above they could have shown a few more fords

I liked it when they were talking to the drivers, some in convertables covered in water then the guy in the $400,000 lambo goes oh yer we didnt hit anything and i had the climate control set at 25 degrees, so it was pretty good, haha damn rich bastard. The typhoon or tornado what ever they are, the yellow ute with the plates FPVPSI was looking nice trying to do the 4 leaf clover course.
