So I have sold my AU XR8 SII ute. I will be sad when I see it leave my driveway on Wednesday. The parts that I pulled off were the MSD coil packs and leads, whiteline F&R swaybars, 4 piston front brembos and slotted rotors, staggered 19's, black momo gear knob and genuine ford hard lid. This is how she looks atm awaiting pick up.
So I plan on replacing it with a P250 and I am hunting one in stock form. I have my eye on one atm but I will wait probably till October to actively locate a possible purchase.

in regards to my next car, i am thinking that at some stage i am keen to replace the heads (with aftermarket - i read a lot of people recommending AFR 185's) and port match the intake. Am i better off holding off from buying a set of new headers till then, or can i buy a set before that stage that will work well with both the gt40p's and (scenarios based) afr 185's??

Congrats on the sale Shaun.
I am using the same Hurricane headers on my AFR 165s that I was using on the GT40Ps. I guess it will come down to the exhaust port size on the 185s. You should be able to look that up. Using the Summitracing site, I did a compare of the AFRs 1472 (the 165s I am running), the 1422 and 1492 (the two 185 variants) and all three have the same 68cc exhaust runner volume. This would be a fair indication that they would all be the same size? Obviously more research would be required to confirm. Good luck with your search for nice P250. Cheers Stu
