I picked this up on Monday. I needed a safe car to cart the baby around in and the Mondeo is 5 star rated. I bought one about 4 weeks ago with 46000km on the clock, but had a prang with someone who failed to give way and the car was written off. Anyway, after looking around and seeing a lot of rubbish, I came across this around the corner from me. It is a 1999 GLX Hatch, 5 speed, tinted windows, alloys (which I dont love but are growing on me), FSH and has been absolutely doted on. It is much nicer than the first car.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does FSH stand for? Timmeh |

Yeah the 5 star is for the driver but the other people you hit only get a 4 star, lol. Just nice to know they are a well built car. Mine has done 208000 now out of a 95 so they last the distance. happy driving.

Timmeh...FSH does mean full service history. every 10000kms this car has had a book service sompleted. It offset the high-ish miles.
Polyal...long story, but I was prepared to look for a ST24, but decided to keep looking for a good Mondeo in the meantime. This car is very nice, and because it didnt cost as much as an ST, I get to keep the Mini. And the RS. Mrs RSgerry is just brilliant :-) |
