I can now tell you that Ford are bringing F150 back to Australia as a fully supported remanufactured RHD. XLT and Lariat series with the 3.5 V6 twin turbo Ecoboost and 4500kg towing capability.

the motoring press will have all the details, but I can tell you this is a fully engineered (by local and North America teams) car that will be modified by RMA Automotive at Mickleham in Victoria. Full Ford factory warranty will be maintained and full dealer and service support available

The Ranger Raptor and F150 are aimed at different markets.
The Raptor is a premium off road recreational vehicle and the F150 is more of a workhorse with a lot bigger towing capacity etc.

One is designed, engineered, and developed by Australians, the other is converted and engineered by Australians:

I think that’s a win win.

Well, I have to say I am knocked out by this news, I never thought Ford would the balls to do this.

Brilliant news!

Ford needed to react, GMSV and Ram both established here now, had to tackle the market.

The F-150 is unique in that compared to GMSV and RAM, Ford are actually an official brand in Australia, rather than being imported by a second/third party.
