Default The "KIWI" does 11's

After running at Heathcote a week before the Nats to get some shakedown runs, i ran off a few 11.8's @ 118 and 119mph

With some new slicks and front runners at the Nats was running consistent 11.6's and 11.7's @ 119mph with 60ft of high 1.6's and low 1.7's which at the Nats was my first ever time on full SLICKS

When the weather went COLD went out for a big one to see what would happen. And with a big launch pulled off a 1.62 60ft and ran a lazy

11.53 @ 120.4mph. not bad for not even setup yet

Its one of Nathans H/C packages, but i opted not to go for the tune so its not his tune in my car. so cant wait til next time i go out fully tuned!!

Nice work simon, I see your car getting around the streets a bit. I was filling up next to you once at Mobil on whitehorse rd, just before it becomes Maroondah HWY, i was in my mums VS and too shy to come up and say hi. :$

That's damn quick!

Good on ya mate, well done, hopefully soon you can have some competition from the blue boy's, although I think it's a little while off yet seeing a Boss run consistent mid 11's, what are the Boss boy's doing, lol.

What springs and shocks you running in the back, jeez th car gets awfully low on the launch doesn't it. Great time mate well done.

How light are those skinnies up front, is it worth swapping the standard rims for them.

Koni Rears. And HD King Springs, and they still squatted like a mofo. The skinnies are a lil lighter but not a huge amount

Well, I suck at dial your own, but I believe I was the 2nd fastest N/A 346ci for the weekend. Fastest was Nathan Higgins 10.8 or something.

Pics are up now on first post

Under 12.5 you have run crossply if you are running slicks..With slcks you must aslo have tailshaft loop..You must have crossplys all round or radial slicks on back cannot mix clossply with radials... ....Rules....

Depends whether the events ANDRA sanctioned. I've seen plenty of 10sec cars not running cross plys on the front inc mine. As long as it tracks straight whats the problem?

When I used to run slower I used to get a slight wobble. Now I go faster I have no wobble at all. Go figure?

A funny thing I witnessed with crossplys was @ the Hot rod show at Calder park. It was a little disturbing. "Mentle" (67 SS comaro) got the wobbles and rolled a crossply front runner off the rim. That could have been nasty considering he ran 9.5@154mph wheelspinning the whole 1/4.

He actually had his throttle stick, and he tried to turn the bottom corner, thats why he peeled the tyre, would have been 1 scary ride though

I bet he has fitted a better return spring now ;) Definately looked scary. Even the 1st pass was entertaining. He did the side to side trick for the whole 1/4 leaving huge black lines. That cars nuts and so is the driver.
