Default au ghia sump gaurd

can some one please tell me if the military heavy dudy sump gaurd is standard on these models also dose it have to come off for an oil change it .looks like it has to

heavy duty sump guard??
if your talking about the piece of crappy plastic that hangs down.. then its easy to remove.. and i believe it is possible to do oil change with it still there..
just requires more jacking from memory..

ford did have an option sump/bash plate avaliable for falcons...outback ute had em as well.... normally ya have to remove it (undo 4 bolts pretty easy) ya can leave it on but its make a bit of mess and its easy to take of....

If it's similar to my ute there will be a hole to allow for oil changes. Mine is attached by 4 bolts, 2 at the crossmember and 2 at the radiator support panel.

Mine is steel... I'll take a pic tomorrow when i go back down the shop, as its out at the moment during repairs.
