Default Shannon's car Show Tamworth 2012

Went to the car show this morning. While I didnt get photos of everything as I was pressed for time, I got about 60 photos, so here we go.
Sorry if some of the photos are a bit dark but the lighting inside was horrible

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.

Are few are, the 2012 Mustang is local (barstard), same bloke has the '65 convertible.

The two '69's are local, as is the Drag XB coupe, Ranchero and most of those rods.

Mirage and Vl came from narrabri.

Also was 2 Merc Sls', one a convertible, the other a gullwing.

And the gullwing was sold, to some lucky local for $500 grand

Good to see Oxley 203 there still wearing the "RIXON" memorial plates. Hopefully it keeps them when it goes back on patrol.

Talking with the sergeant there , the plates are there forever, as with the last couple of Highway boys to lose their life on the job. James Affleck & Glenn McEnallay both have plates on their cars
