Hi all just a quick query as to whether the 2011 lw focus diesel has a timing belt or chain. Getting quite confused trying to find the answer on google

Both. A belt from one camshaft to the crankshaft, but a chain between the camshafts.
The chain is meant to be good for the life of the car. More to be read on this engine, in the Mondeo forum. |
