Default Tint - Is this a good price?

G'day guys

I've been quoted $275 by premier tint to get darkest legal quantum tint done on the ED with lifetime warranty. Is this a good price? Also when's the best time to buy? Now at the end of autumn or wait until early/mid winter? Cheers

i think you should shop around a bit more, heard some not so good stories about premier, my mates EA got done about 9 months ago and it's gone all bubbly and sort of purple.

From the website:

Quantum
"Quantum for the Car"

A full metal film that will improve your cars fuel efficiency by reducing reliance on its air conditioning during hot weather.

Because Quantum does not contain any dyes they cannot change colour like other films.

A low reflective, high performance film guaranteed to never:

* Change Colour
* Bubble
* Lose Optical Clarity

Exactly what I was thinking. But I suppose if you had auto climate control it'd probably be true, but I dare say you'd never really recoup the cost of the tint.

Darkest legal (35% light i think), but that's all I want. The exhaust is way too loud as it is, I don't want too much attention.

I've been told by a few people to wait until spring/summer before getting my car tinted, as it's the moisture in the air that will make the tint bubble and look terrible. Makes sense I guess, and you don't really need tinting in winter; it's already freezing!

There is a place in Geelong that is doing darkest legal for 250; not sure if it has a warranty but a phone call could fix that.

$275 seems good.

Sounds like a good idea bender. Only thing is I'm extrememly picky with dates atm, stupid engineering project due in 2 1/2 weeks then exams, and back home in the mobfnw for holidays.

But if we can organise something within the next month and a half, I'm in for sure.

Group discounts can work. Recently we had a bit of a group deal here, $180 with waranty.
