Recently bought a 2009 mk 4 mondeo hatch.
Didnt come with owners manual & cant find the information needed, how do we change the indicator bulb? Have heard they just pop out but wasnt sure. Also has anyone else had issues with their wiper bottle sensor, have filled the bottle but message keeps popping up on the dash. |

Here's a PDF of the manual for the MC from Ford, which includes bulb replacement instructions. I'd expect the MB is pretty close, if not identical.

two bolts and the trim plastic rivets
The inner side of the headlight needs working out past the bumper, slight manipulation of the bumper section will allow the headlight to get past it, then pull the headlight out forward in the angle it's in and your done. There's not much wiring harness slack so get it angled so you can access the plug and disconnect it. With that done the square inspection plate has tabs that need pushing in (unlatches) and then the cover can be removed to access the globes. Yeah I did once no matter how much I filled it, it kept warning me. My lowtech fix were to blow into the bottle as hard as I could and release, cop a face full of at the time distilled water. The warning never came back (well it did when it were empty) just no false warnings.
