You say replica? are these the non genuine weber copies? haven't heard good things about them, either way webers can be fickled things... Get a hold of the speed pro weber tuning book, its a great bible... Either that or record all of your base settings and start winding the mixtures up or down, if it doesn't work you can just set it back to base. Fuel pressure can play a big part too, should be around 3-4 psi.
Out of interest who did your tuning here in perth?

Bit hard to follow there mate, sorry to hear about the tuner, had almost the same problem with BPT in wangara, seems no one is interested in doing carbs over here, just flash tunes and bolt on stuff. Try Escort road and race, he knows his stuff and usually gives advice for free...

I'd suggest that you remove the jets from each side, one at a time and check what size jets are fitted (pilot, emulsion tubes and mains - they should all be marked) You'll probably find that there is an 'odd sized jet' installed. Cheers Engine Guy |

im not shure if I should not recommend RACE PERFORMANCE TUNE RPW BUT I SPENT $1000 ON NOTHING SO PASS IT ON AND $1000 IS A LOT AF MONEY WHEN YOU HAVE TO FIX IT YOURSELF |

BTW, I am only a tiny bit younger than you. When I lived in the UK, I actually ran a business specializing in every aspect of complete restorations, (lots of old sports models and exotica's / race cars) Cheers Engine Guy |
