Hi, I just brought a full set of 4 Pot Brembos for my BA xr6t, (BA GT-P set up), the rotors look like they need machining. Can the cross drilled rotors be machined, or is there a way to get the braking surfacing flat again?
If so, do you have the services to do it? Also, are the bolts of the standard brake set up the same used to fit the brembo set up, plus rear brake lines, will they swap over? If they arent/dont fit, do you stock/can supply whats needed? Cheers Pete.

Providing the rotors have enough thickness to be legal after machining, yes they can be done on any brake lathe

Cheers for that, yeah they have. Will probably drop in to RBS at same time to get pads and lines sorted. Hit 2 or 3 birds with one stone while Im there to save hassles

I've machined plenty of these rotors without them cracking.

Whats the starting thickness of the cross drilled rotor when new?
At the moment, the fronts are 30mm, and the rears 27? just would like to know if they would still be legaly usable if machined?

Rear std is 28mm and Minimum is 26mm at the rear - maybe possible to machine and stay with in depending on how much is taken off.

While I can't help with the minimum thickness to be legal, cross drilled rotors start at the same thickness as a factory rotor. So where ever you happen to take them to be machined, should know whether they can be safely machined or not to still be legal
