Default Manual Conversion Day - Help needed Warrandyte South

Hey guys, Who wants to come chip in a bit of a hand for a t5 conversion on my EB series 2?

Date is yet to be confirmed, and I've got no tools. However I do have a pretty large asphalt area which can be used as long as not much oil is spilled everywhere.

Supplied: beer, snags, other bbq stuff, and other food/refreshments. The area is under cover so it can work with any weather.

What i need - someone who knows the entire process back to front, and others who wouldnt mind coming to help and chip in a hand even if its just for the free meal and beer.

When: May 19? 20? not sure yet, depends on what day is best for everyone. Ive got all the parts except the oil which ill get when i find out this is on.

thanks guys

I might be able to come along. I should be able to help a bit, but while I have had the conversion done on mine, I certainly don't know it back-to-front. The main reason being because Josh (efgiar) did most of the work on mine! lol

750 for all parts off schmee and $9 for new spigot bearing and prob get a new clutch cable and then whatever the oil costs plus the food and beer for the day is about all so $900 or less all up

I will be there, and as for the accelerator cable, I would've got one from ford. It ends up being cheaper I'm pretty sure...and original!

What time do we all rock up?

I'm still in, although I might need to do a bit of running around before hand, due to my power steering destroying it's second belt in a week.

Yeah, it was a shame about the conversion. While most of us have been involved with manual conversions, none of us were experienced enough to run the show.

It was a good BBQ anyway.
