Read the short comments. It says it has Original XR6 tickford motor. Would this mean this car is practically an xr6. I like the look but want the power of an xr6 98 el

yeh seems a bit highly priced.. You can get EL ghias even cheaper these days as GreenEL said. So id shop around a bit more.
It says its got pedders and king low springs, although looks a bit more lower than that to me. anyhow looks tuff.

No all XR6's from 1994 to 1998 (EF/EL) had the same engine and power.

Whats your budget for the car?

I'm thinking of selling my 1996 XR6 in the near future. Its factory manual, full body kit, 17x8 AJR's, stereo etc and comes with full history just turned over 124 000km.

PM me if interested pic here

The picture looks VERY wrong, as those EL GT'S don't look like 17" rims. In the picture they look like atleast 18's! It's been photochopped for sure.

It all really depends on what you want. Sport or luxo.

Find a EL Fairmont with a tickford drivetrain and get some decent suspension.

where do you start with all the things to check ........

Ebii Fairmont Ghia
pictures, okay
km's, okay

bumpers, shoddy paint job
guards, dented (not in plain sun shine view, hidden in shadows)
radio, no LCD's to see channels (code after battery)
gearbox, no retard in 3,2,1 - d'ja think of that on the test drive ?!?!?!?
exhaust, leaking, two mufflers .....
wonder what's next ! *sighs*

Get an EL Ghia, they came with Tickford 6 and 3.45 diff. The only difference from XR6 was in the exhaust which accounted for a 3kw difference in engine power from the factory. I picked one up in Brisbane about 6 months ago for $10 700, 6 months rego, mint condition, 117 000k's.

I love it more than my cat!
