As the title suggests, the 2021 Street Series is on again this year WITH new rules.
It's also the 28th running of the Championships. First round is on the 13th February, 3pm. Apparently, the national body is going wth a class for real street cars for racing. So Willowbank has adopted similar rules... Cars: Must run treaded DOT tyres, tyres marked NOT FOR HIGHWAY USE are strictly forbidden Must run full exhaust Must run full interior No after-market electronics with the exception of computers for EFI cars. Excluded items include line-locks, transbrakes, two steps, throttle stops, delay boxes etc. I often wondered if there would ever be a class for real street cars, so here it is. I only had one meeting last year in my BA 3v ute before the covid struck. It's a bit unreal having to pay a week in advance as you have no control over the weather. Anyway, have to be in it to win it. Cheers Larry |
