Default SYDNEY ANZAC Weekend Cruise - Zetec visit

Yes that's right, I'm organising a cruise for the ANZAC weekend, probably on the Sunday sometime, not sure yet. I'm planning on heading up the Blue Mountains on Sunday with a friend and would LOVE to catch up with the Sydney crew, Especially Timbo, but I'm yet to meet any of you!! I'll be driving the Focus up from Melbourne on Friday and heading back on the Monday but I'll have somewhat of a surprise in store that nobody is expecting... let me tell you it will be worth the trip along... TRUST me!! I'm out for Saturday unless it's a morning cruise. Sunday I prefer a morning cruise also, so I can enjoy the rest of my day up the mountains.

Any takers? Tim knows my secret, but he is SWORN to keep it secret until the day.....

Russ
Todd

And all the Fiesta owners. But Focus owners especially.... ;)

Sorry to dissapoint here mate, but I will be in Rome on that very day checking out the wonderful sights and sounds, and maybe blasting down an autobahn in a Ferrari......(I hope so about the Ferrari anyway, am trying depserately to find a hire car place that has them available)

Well, so much for my surprise. I can't get it. I was going to be bringing up a 5 door New Focus Zetec manual in Silver, complete with the standard 17's and bodykit but it appears someone higher rnaked than me has nabbed the car instead... boo!!!

There will be a next time though!! Will still be coming up to Sydney htough in my own beast (which arguably is better, just I don't get any free fuel!!!).

PPL still interested in meeting the OTHER Godfather of the Eurofordclub? I have NEVER actually been on a club cruise with Tim believe it or not, so the 2 founders in the one place at the one time would be something to tell the grandkids about!

Just a word of warning about the tourist traffic on Sunday. It is ridiculous. Better to steer clear of the Great Western Highway and head over along the Bells Line of Road.

Let me know what your plans are and I see whether or not I can commit to a cruise and I'll steer you to some good places to take photo's etc. etc.

Thanks Kim and RichieMK6 for responding. No, there's no cruise planned this weekend but it is still on the agenda for the future. So, it really wasn't spam. As ZETEC has indicated he's pulled out.

Kim, we'd welcome you to come along on a cruise and give your Fiesta a good run (and have a good day out as well). Keep informed by viewing our site.

Sorry guys, I was planning on bringing upo a brand new Focus Zetec, the NEW model, up to Sydney for the weekend and wanted to drop by to give you all a close look, wasn't so much a big cruise rather than a short meeting. I'll promise to make it up to you all anyway sometime soon!!!

py: No worries, i'm thinking of doing the mountains trip anyhow as I have some very good
friends at Katoomba so will probably stay the night. I've got to be back for the RSL Anzac day lunch with my dear old Dad on Monday.
Looking forward to doing a cruise with you lads sometime in the future.
Will keep a eye on the forum for that.
Cheers, Kim.
