Default Mondeo Cargo/Dog barrier

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience with Cargo/dog barriers for a Ford Mondeo Station Wagon (2010 MB).

I am looking to get one to protect the family but still want the flexability to fold down the split seats and pass stuff through when I go and get timber and the like without having to remove the entire barrier.

I also don't want it to impact on the airbags or ability to keep the roller cargo blind.

Thanks

Hi Mondy,

I have one of the dog barriers on order for the wife's car. Will let you know how it goes when it arrives. Will post some photos.

I am sure the cargo barrier could be sourced / ordered from your local Ford Parts outet...

Hi Mondy,

photos attached of the genuine Ford dog barrier. Haven't got the roller blind installed but I can confirm it fits fine with the dog barrier installed. Also, you can pass stuff through with the seats folded down, but obviously lose some height. Also well clear of the rear curtain airbags. Top attachment is into the factory attachment points in the roof. Lower attachement is onto the front cargo tie downs. Sturdy and good fitment and finish.

Hope this helps,
GM

Hi Steve,

not a rattle or squeak to be heard from it. Even on rough country roads.

There is a Mondeo cargo net that can be easily installed / taken out.
No drilling holes and rattling like with the metal cargo barrier.

I had one on my Mondeo Mk3 wagon, and I have one on Mk 4.5 ZETEC wagon as well.
Mk3 version is on the picture below, Mk4 looks slightly different, but both will fit Mk4 Mondeo, so either one you can get your hands on will work.

Ford P/N: AM7S7J N613F33 BA

Ford is asking 400+ for it, on eBay you can get one for around 140 pounds UK. I picked one up, brand new, on eBay AU for 65AUD + 20$ for shipping.
