Default Scraped!!

Well after one of my worst weeks ever I go to get into my car at work and was greeted with the following:

I park way over in the corner as close to the gutter as possible and some clot manages to hit it!!

As I care greatly about my cars the front bar will need a whole respray, has anyone had this done or know how much it should cost?

You know what really irritates me? People saying "It's just a car, don't worry about it".

Thanks for the sympathy guys, I get none from people who drive crap boxes.

If ever I ran into the guy who did that kind of thing to my car... god help him!

its pretty dissapointting but like you said the repaint will fix the stone chips as well.

Cost me $500 bucks just to sand, prime and paint the gray strip across the back bumper so sounds like you've got a good deal providing the quality is good.

On the other side. My trailer scraped a front bumper of an early model Laser in a car park. I went inside and found the lady.
Now the bumper was in a bad way and each mark was paint pen covered and the lady did love her car. However I did add one more mark. She rang about a week later and said it was close to $600 to fix. Before I could say another word she said she knew it was needing repair and was happy to go halves. So I sent off a cheque.

I figure better to have good Karma as my wife's car gets a bad dint or scratch every 8 to 12 months from the car park where she works. It really pi55es me off. Only once did someone ever report that they hit her car and it was a really old couple she knew didn't have to bob to rub together so she let it go.

In one car it lost a mirror, a roof dint and several scratches.

In another car only one month old a Druggie looking for money smashed a window and 3 panels needing a respraying at over $1000 in costs. (rental car, taxis and excess)
