Default XR6 gearbox noise

Hi everyone
I'm new here, I have an au2 XR6. I have been doing it up and recently put a hi stall in it. After refitment and refilling the gearbox makes a grinding sound when I try to put it in park. It didn't do it for the first 7 litres or so, having the started the car a few times to fill the stall and lines but when I put the final 2 litres in it started. I didn't pull the box apart except for a new pan filter and gasket and the box was Bullet proof before fitting the stall. I did notice on reinstall that at some point I have tagged the front oil line causing it to kink almost completely closed. Could this be the cause of the noise or have I done something wrong when fitting the stall. This is my first go at anything to do with an auto box. Any help greatly appreciated

Hi Mate, this part of the forum is pretty quiet. You'd be better posting your question in the AU-BA page.
