Default AU Tickford Front calipers, Disk's quotes please

I have a AU2 XR8 i'm gearing up to do the swap to Tickford Premium front Calipers, i have the Calipers, and Brackets, i'm now keen to get the right disk's and some braided brake line's.

1. Can i please get some quotes on 329mm x 28mm Front disks, Slotted and Drilled, Im not sure on part numbers, i think one i got was RDA506G.

2. Id like a few to choose from with RDA and DBA as the two prefered brands, and out of curiosity the Kangaroo paw style as well.

3. Id also like a quote on getting a full set of braided brake lines, with the silicone over the top made up with stainless steel fittings.

I am also seriously considering getting the Tickford Premium rear brakes from a TE50, so would want the brake line's to fit up and hopefully it will all be a straight swap.

Thanks very much for helping me out,
Cheers
Heath

Heath the RDA slotted rotors are $310 a pair with the grooved and dimpled at $455 a pair .The DBA 4000 series slotted rotors are $726 a pair but these are Australian made and have been treated so you can't really compare them to the RDA ones.If the car is a sedan with traction control the braided lines would be about $295 all up.

Thanks for your reply, i had actually forgot i posted this question!

In what way are the DBA 4000 series rotors treated? Are they the Kangaroo paw style too?

Braided lines, My AU2 is a sedan XR8, it will have the front Premium calipers, and hopefully the rears aswell soon, But it DOESN'T have traction control, I can vouch fro this as i have left many powerlines in it! I didnt think any AU's had traction control?

The rotors are kangaroo paw and the treatment is called Thermo Stability Profiling which enhances the microstructure of the disc. Are you getting the hose bracket with the front brake set up and as i think they have one closer to the caliper and i will also need to know if the car is irs or not thanks.

Thanks for the explanation,

But i dont understand this part sorry,
"Are you getting the hose bracket with the front brake set up and as i think they have one closer to the caliper"

I'm not sure! Do you mean the position of the bracket for the brake line is closer to the caliper? i have bought the front calipers already and the brackets too, I had intended to simply buy some new bolts, fit them with new disks, and braided lines!
I think that the standard lines for the Tickford premium brakes were braided, not sure but if that's the case i can always investigate going down that path.

oh, Its a AU2 and its has IRS.

Thanks again for your reply,
Heath

Sorry i am a bit unsure on the set up of this model but from memory the BA GT with the premium brake set up also had a hose bracket near the caliper where as on a std brake set up it was only on the strut tower.I may not have the specs for the hoses to be made in the Goodrich lines we do and from memory when we sold a customer the pbr brake lines for this set up some time ago they were a bit different because of the fittings they use.It all comes down to the length of hose and the end fittings along with brackets. We can work around it i think but sometimes when conversions are done on cars i can put a car on the hoist and check it.

I can answer a couple of questions here.

I needed to get custom hoses made up as there was nothing off the shelf that would do it, even the proper lines from Ford didn't work with mine. There is no difference between your rear brakes and the Premium rear brakes, they are one and the same.

The rears i though were fine so thats great and i think the proper ford/pbr hoses have the wrong bend in them to make them fit from memory. The goodridge ones we do have a shorter banjo we can use on the front but will just need some specs worked out.
Thanks RG

This is what I thought too. I was under the impression the Tickford Premium Brake optioned cars only had an upgraded front end, with the rear brakes being the same as standard AU2/AU3? Can you confirm this Heath?

Edit: Sorry, I've taken this off-track a bit. I will PM.

That is correct, rear rotor and pad part numbers are all the same.
