EA was available with multipoint fuel injection.
the engine internals actually changed between the 3.9 and 4.0.

I was wanting to know why the first one is called 3.9 litre and the second a 4.0 litre when they are both 3949 cubis inches? Or have I got the wrong information. Secondly, does the cpi only have two injectors?(is that what i see when itake the are filter cover off) or does it have one for each cylinder.
Thats what I should have asked. Sorry for being so lazy. |

CPI (or CFI) has 2 injectors as you said.
MPFI has 6 injectors.

Just a question about chucking subs in the boot. I wouldnt ever do it because I don't listen to doof doof(and the **** factor), but where do you guys stick the spare tyre? I Have noticed a few very neat setups in the boot, and the sub seems to hang down where the spare wheel would normally sit. Soyou guys stick it in the boot loose or link it up with a small harness or drive without a spare ?

Subs aren't just for doof doof. They add a dimension to the sound, that is there in every song you listen to. Whether or not you have a sub to hear that low frequency dimension, is another story. |

Bugger! So if you suffer a flat your screwed and become an instant celebrity if you do it in peak hour. :/
Yeah I know nothing about subs except that its insanely funny when peoples spoiler and boot rattle makes more noise than the sub. I mainly listen to rock and metal, was wondering if anyone else has a sub for that purpose/. |
