Angry Car vandalised last night

Hey all, returned to pick up my BA Fairmont this morning after a few bevies last night to find it proper F#@%ed.

Most panels have sustained some sort of damage some worse than others but by far the worst is the roof.

Any idea's as whether this can be fixed ? I'm just not too keen on a whole turrent replacement if thats the way they go these days as i've been told its never the same.

I'm guessing at least 3/4 if not more of the car would need respraying to some degree also.

Whilst im absolutely fuming over it, it's the inconvenience of having to spend the next cple of weeks following everything up that annoys me more than anything.

Man, I really feel for you, that is awful.
Did you notify the police?
Looks like it could be a write-off to me. I've seen less hail damaged cars written off.
Really sorry mate, that sucks.

A new turrent if done correctly would most likely be a better repair than trying to beat that roof

If it isnt, its going to cost you more than the car is worth.

Not much. Their too stupid to think.

Don't worry; what goes around, comes around.

I had a similar thing happen to my first car, HT Kingswood. Parked it at a train station, came back at 10 PM to get it, every panel dinted including the roof, smashed the side mirror as well.

I could and still can't understand why people do this? Does it make them feel big to wreck something of someone else's? My Kingswood was a heap with numerous issues, but it was my only transport, and I always kept it clean and tidy (mainly as it was not quite roadworthy condition).

My guess it's probably the same people who get their jollies pulling wings off flies, or it provides them some kind of sexual excitement that they can relive again in their bed, by themselves.

Feel for you, mate. It's a terrible thing to ave done to you.

Took a few more photo's, Iphone quality is a bit ordinary doesn't show everything. It's alot worse in the metal which is hard to imagine.

I know it's nothing special but it just sends me raging everytime i think about it. If anything its the assing about over the next couple of weeks if it is a write off in between shift work and possible time off work, wifes work, daycare etc finding the time to look for another car.

So in a nutshell,

Roof is shagged
Entire drivers side from headlight to tail light is scratched/keyed
Bonnet
Boot
Front and Rear windows
Both side mirrors
Drivers side guard
Drivers side door
Drivers rear 1/4
Passenger rear door
Passenger lower A pillar

it can either go 2 ways, repair or write off

if they decide to repair see how much it will cost you for a sunroof upgrade.

Keep it for spares as a writeoff.

Thats terrible.

Next time get a decent alarm system and even a dashcam for that extra peace of mind.

May i ask which area you left it at?

Sorry to see the damage that has been caused. I would say that your insurance company may just write it off. That would cost a fair bit to fix.

Cheers

I just dont know why people do this.

My mrs car was scuffed at train station and i was furious. I just cant comprehend why someone would do this extent of damage.

It just disappoints sometimes at how the human race disrespects one another.
