Default New years resolutions

Normally I am not a big one for this type of hype/stuff but going to give it a crack in 2013... I did have the typical smokes one for this year which was give up the durrys, which I'm doing well at so far been nearly a month..

So for next year.. I want to take a step in the right direction to get into what I want to do - something in the social work field, and also get down to about 85kg.. which shouldn't be too hard as I am seeing a PT now and going to a gym - only been doing that for about a month and seeing some decent results...

What are your plans?

2 years ago mine was to be more social, I.e. not always say "aww i'm too tired to head out" etc

Last year was to enjoy sydney more, i.e. see more sights, go out and about to places I haven't been, that worked well.

This year... I'm just going to try and be the best version of me that I can. No huge "I'm gonna do this or that" just simply plug away and hope that each day I can feel I did all I could.

Mine is to give my business a really good go - get stuck into it and make it a nice profitable venture. It is at the moment but I want to continue it and sustain the growth.

Next one is to buy a new house, got my eye on one and ours is up for sale so here's hoping.

Third is to buy my dream Ford - an EL GT - and have it sitting in my new shed.

These were mine for the year just gone and I'm actually surprised and impressed at how I went. 2 out of 3 ain't bad! The GT still isnt in the shed but the business is going very well and we ended up buying the house. Happy days.

For 2014 I want to continue to build our business and still go after that GT...

Weight loss and quit smoking promises are the most common with people each year, but I'm a lot different.

In 2013, one thing I want to do is gain weight as I'm on the opposite side of the spectrum with most. I also want to become more sociable and enjoy life a little more. If all else fails, at least it will still be 1920×1080

Here is last years thread for anyone that needs reminding of what their resolution/s were - http://fordforums.com.au/showthread....ighlight=years

As for me -

- I reckon I ate at least 6 1ft subs this year, so I'll that one the tick of approval

No resolution for 2013, because at the moment, I'm quite content.

My New Years Resolutions this year are rather simple. A few I try and do all year round but it is as good a time as any to remind myself of them:

Make sure my family live a happy life with less stress
Be kinder to people - friends and strangers alike
Try to yet again quit smoking

The first two I am sure I will achieve the last one...well...we will see how it goes.

Cheers

HA! The last one wasn't even attempted in 2013..
This year I am going for the much of the same. Keep my family happy and stress free, be kinder to people.

I am also going to not care what people say or think of me. I will assume nothing and accept everything...life will be more fun that way

Have a great 2014 everyone. Tis going to be a ripper of a year

Cheers

Well considering that this year I struck "buy a house" off the list I guess it is down to the ever consistent "loose the bloody excess weight". And since I have been working on this and improving myself physically for the last 10 years (actually had some very good results in the last 6 months which I intend to continue after the silly season) this really isn't a resolution, just an ongoing process.

Seriously though - this year I would like to live more, i.e. apply myself more at work, get out and about socially, meet people, possibly do some charity work or join some organisations etc. Feel better about being me. I do too much sitting on the couch watching TV on the weekends.

And considering my NYE plans fell through again this year, hopefully next NYE to actually have a party to go to!!
