Default Name the Warranty Fault

I think this will be impossible but see if you can guess what Warranty Fault could cause what you see in these two images of this VE @ a GM Dealership :

UNBELIEVABLE!

it wouldnt suprise me if its a heater core or air con evaporator fault, even go as far as saying (which will be far fetched) a auto light sensor or climate control sensor.

Have to be something electrical, VE's are widely known to have shocking electrical problems.

I'm guessing something really simple.

Such as a blown globe in the dash cluster?

Indicators aren't working - the sound of the clicking.
I don't know about any oe else but the sound of VE indicators sound artificial. They don't have the 'normal' sound of the relay clicking.

The carpet was badly fitted and would not sit up under the trim in the footwell so all of the dash, seats and plastic trim, etc had to be removed to take the old carpet out, it's been sitting like this for three weeks waiting for a new carpet to arrive apparently they are made in some exotic place, I think they called it Adelaide hence the long wait for it to turn up in the West!

Personly I would have lived with the problem than have that done to my car!!

Engine won't crank? Interior lights won"t switch off? Doors not locking? Seatbelt pretensioner wiring fault? Tail lights fault? Fuel pump issue? Dash rattle due to poor body panel assembly? No hole in the carpet for A/C drain tube?

It wouldnt be leaking door/window seals would it? (requiring carpet replacement) I have read in a few places about leaks and pools of water in the footwells. It looks as if the carpet underlay/sound deadening is damp in the top picture.

Water pooling from condensor causing the wiring harness to short. That, or it was made on Friday afternoon.
