Hi,
has anybody changed the oil on these? can it be done or not? lots of conflicting information, non-serviceable item in ford book thanks |

yes I have on page 10, but you wouldn't have that gbox if you've got a 2012 Mondeo. They stopped using them in early 2010 and switched to the DCT. I've changed it a few times now, still feels like it did on the first change, am very happy with it.

how did you go?
the AWF21 is as easy as it gets being a conventional T.C auto, drain and fill plugs and that fluid level plug makes it easy to do. It's the selection of fluid that kept me back and finding a suitable one that's not going to cost $100/L was the harder part. Eventually I found one suitable (on spec.) and took a chance, turns out it's all good. I got another 20L Drum back in April ready for it again.

Haven’t got stuck into it yet Cobrin
Doing research, watched video on a Volvo which i think was same gearbox. Will locate all the plugs and do a bit of a practice run soon. |
