I have koni adjustable shocks fitted front and rear on my XW.
What is the best way to set them up for street/strip duties. I have them set fairly firm atm. Should the rears be set up soft? It has been a long time since I messed with the adjustment, but I think you can only adjust compression, and not rebound. I have reasonably new Lovell rear leaf springs, and old 6 cyl springs in the front. cheers |

we don't have springs, but use Strange double adjustable with leaf springs, set on soft. 60's 1.28 on 10.5'' slick and 1.30 on 275 Radial.

Soft enough to prevent axle tramp.. Its all in the combo ..
Start soft and work your way up then fine tune .. keep a book of settings and time slips..

Are they the reds or the yellows?
You want a 50/50 so if reds set em soft [youve only got 3 settings, the yellows have 5] I'm on the middle setting and they are quite firm. [reds]

Thanks, they are the reds, so have limited adjustment. I will soften them up and see how it goes.
