Default I can't post!

I've been trying to post in several threads all over the forum and keep being told that I dont have permission, and that I need to log in. Log out, and back in, still won't work!

Don't even know if this will work!

Not sure if I'm the only one experiencing this or not?

Any help appreciated! Thanks!

Edit: turns out I can start threads.

The not enough posts message only applies for sendign new PM's or creating items in the Sales Yard and is deliberate on our part to stop people joining just to make use of that area.

Russ

Thanks Russ, I figured since I'm going to sell my plates I'd come here, just seemed the right place for them, gone from BOS290 to a 315 so the plates aren't relevant for me anymore. Do you encourage me to go elsewhere? Thankyou,
Michelle

If you are only here to sell then yes and going by your posts so far that is all you are doing.

The members here are more than capable of using the net outside this forum to find anything they may be interested in.

No worries, seems a little strange that I'm a ford owner, have an item relevant to fords, which may be of interest to someone else on the forum and you don't welcome that?
Just because I don't have the time or inclination to sit on a forum all the time participating in a million threads doesn't mean I don't have an interest, or wont enjoy reading through some things when I want to, or lastly an item to sell.
Not such a welcoming group!

It's unfortunate but you'll find it's the same no matter what car forum you join.

The forums would be overtaken by ads and the members who are interested in cars would leave.

Follow the rules and it's ok or use Ebay or its equivalent.

Everyone now knows you have plates for sale, you've achieved your goal.

I appreciate what your saying, I would imagine anyone coming here specifically to sell would be selling a ford related item.. It's not like I've come along and tried to flog an ikea table or something!
We are just looking at it in different ways I spose, my mind set was that yes I could use eBay (I have an account) or classifieds or mr plates or some such method but I chose to come here because I figured the passionate ford owner would appreciate that, also stops some opportunist grabbing them and charging a premium for someone who actually wants them.
