Default What is a link to timeslip?

I was trying to put my timeslip in 11.2s at 120mph and it says I need a link to my timeslip. What does that mean? I have a hard copy of my timeslip but not a link to a website. Please explain.

Hi LemmeAbbot.

The link to your timeslip is for if it is stored on a website or indeed on a site such as Photobucket, imageshack etc. You enter the website address for it. http:// etc

Just below that field is another one for uploading your timeslip. If you have scanned it, you can upload the image from that box.

Hope this helps

Cheers
Col

I think the uploading box only works if your et is 12 sec or slower. Just tried it and it asks for the link only. I will try photobucket.

Thanks

No problems. Just make sure if you upload your image from Photobucket that you put in the single images http address.

By that I mean, don't just put in the http for photobucket. The image will have it's own http address. For example: http://photobucket/username/imagename. (the link I have put up will not work when you click on it, as it is only an example.)

Just letting you know as it can be confusing when you link things.

Cheers
Col

Not sure why that didn't work as I have never used the timeslip screen myself.

I am sure russellw will be able to assist you further.

Cheers

It has uploaded fine - the only reason it wasn't appearing in the list was that the ET field hadn't been completed. I have done so for you and it now appears on the list in the correct order.

Cheers

It doesn't look as if you have entered the actual time slip data which you need to do before you can attach the slip to it.

I've entered the data for you manually so it's fine now. When I went into the user profile fields for the time slip entries they were empty so something isn't working right.

Me too, I tried to update my slip from the 10.78 to the 10.11 after the Drag Nats last year andit would not take the upload whether by "browse" or http link off photobucket.

Cheers
