Hi, I'm trying to help locate a Cortina Broken Crankshaft Pulley which has been broken on a 2.0 litre Pinto engine in a TE Cortina. Can anyone help locate one?

Mate, I can probably get you one - provided my puller will shift it, off a TD Cortina 2.0 Pinto engine from the ex's place by the end of this month. It had A/C so is probably a dual pulley.
Where are you located, and why does it have to be "broken"? Cheers!

Oopps er sorry. His existing one is broken. if you can get him an unbroken pulley I'm sure he'd be quite pleased. He's in Brisbane. How much would you want for it ?

Your mate can have it. I dunno what it's like, it's still on the motor that's been sitting out in the weather. Didn't leak or wobble while I was using it though - you did ask for a broken one lol!
The ex's is at Alexandra Hills and I'm at Bracken Ridge so it's not a problem to drop it off anywhere in between if it's not too far out of my way. I'll have a dig around in "her" shed and see what other 2.0 bits I've got at a later date that your mate might want to have for nix and let you know. Anyway, I've gotta get the old balancer off first - will be before the end of the month, she's getting antsy about all the **** I've got over there. If your mate needs it sooner the motor is accessible from the carport. (open to the street) I'll ask her if it's cool first. The barking chihuahua will drive your mate mad - it's a pet dog, not my ex. Cheers!

Cheers Supershifty, I'll let him know the good news today. Yes 'COPY AND PASTE' was my donwfall in creating the post - I failed to remove the word BROKEN
I doubt he'll be able to remove the pulley himself but I'll check with him today and get back to you.

'Broken' can also mean 'wrecked', 'dismantled'. Just depends on the local vernacular !! (nice word that one..). Try reading some funny foreign magazines about Capris / Escorts etc etc
